Strategic Small Business Solutions was in founded 2005 to provide Indigenous advisory business consultancy services to the greater Indigenous community

We provide a suite of professional services to support & promote Indigenous economic development & community growth. Our core values are to empower & inspire Indigenous entrepreneurs and organisations with the capability, capacity & resources needed to develop a sustainable business model and, provide the link between Indigenous communities and government & non-government organisations 

Our business model is based on delivering culturally appropriate Indigenous-to-Indigenous and non-Indigenous services. Andrew McMahon, our principal consultant is a descendent of the Wiradjuri Nation whose core values are to collaborate and engage with Indigenous consultants & business to deliver a suite of professional business advisory services

Business Advisor

Leanne is a Business Advisor with more than ten years’ experience at Strategic Small Business Solutions. Leanne works primarily on SSBC’s Indigenous Economic Development projects and liaises with communities & organisations at all levels providing mentoring and skills transfer to foster sustainable business management to ultimately deliver economic development skills within Indigenous communities.

Prior to 2009 Leanne undertook Aboriginal Studies at the Wollatuka School, combined with Community Health & Welfare and a Business Unit at the University of Newcastle.

Graham is a web designer and digital media marketing creator with more than 8 years of experience working with minor political parties, independents and major party election campaign strategies with a focus on video editing, graphic web design and social media advertising. Graham also had previous experience as a self-employed small business owner of a successful Smash Repair business and Home Improvement company for over 20 years. Graham now works primarily on web design, digital marketing strategies involving Facebook advertising, Google webpage ranking and eCommerce with a specific focus on working with small business owners looking for the correct advice for online presence.

Rebecca is tenured financial & risk management industry professional of 14 years. Rebecca currently works in the areas of Risk, Compliance, Assurance Governance for a leading financial firm.

Rebecca has a thorough understanding of Government policy and its application to industry. Rebecca has extensive experience in policy development, strategic planning, project management and process design.

Rebecca is politically astute, a core requirement of her profession.  Rebecca holds a Diploma of Financial Services and is currently completing a Diploma of Human Resources Management.

Louise McMahon

Consultant

Louise is seasoned International Account Manager of more than 15 years in the travel & marketing industry. Louise has extensive experience in Federal and State procurement and program management practices.

More recently Louise transferred her skills and capabilities to Project Management, working on complex multinational projects across Asia Pacific, Europe and the US.

Louise is conversant with the PIMBOK methodology.  Louise holds a Bachelor of Business Management and Tourism.
